Porsche Technician Certification Levels

  • At least 5 years of experience working on and diagnosing Porsche vehicles.
  • Previously attained both bronze and silver certifications.
  • Continuing education each year.
  • Passing the certification test.

Porsche’s requirements deal with things such as customer handling, facility (including every aspect of information technology), specialized and general tools, equipment, refinish products, and staff training. Each shop is required to have at least two structural technicians, two estimators, and one refinish technician that must meet certain training and certification requirements that are specific to their job roles.
